Dak Lak is located in the South Central Highlands of Vietnam, where there are vast sources of wildflowers, coffee flowers, longan flowers, scattered flowers, rubber, and acacia. This makes it very convenient for the exploitation and production of honey bee products such as honey, pollen, royal jelly, and beeswax. This is a unique gift given by nature, carrying the typical flavor of the majestic mountains and forests of the Central Highlands.
Dak Lak Honey Bee Joint Stock Company was established on December 11, 1975, and was converted from a state-owned enterprise to a joint stock company according to Decision No. 3063/QD-UBND dated November 15, 2000, of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province. It was granted a Business Registration Certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Lak Province with the code 6000.381.356. Over 47 years of development, Dak Lak Honey Bee Joint Stock Company has become the leading enterprise in the Vietnamese bee industry in both honey quantity and export turnover. Every year, the company produces and consumes over 10,000 tons of honey, 500 tons of beeswax, 100 tons of pollen, and 5 tons of royal jelly. Over 95% of the products are exported, with the main export markets being the United States, Canada, Germany, Japan, Korea, and Thailand.
