About
Establish: Nhieu Loc Company Limited was established in 2006, when the company was initially established operating in the field of agricultural product import and export, in 2012 the company officially started participating in the Vietnamese honey export industry.
Since its establishment with only 4 employees, the company has now (2018) had more than 50 employees, including 01 cold storage with a capacity of 2,000 tons of frozen food and 01 honey export processing factory built on an area of over 7,000 m2 with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year of exported honey.
Activities of Thoi Hoa honey processing factory:
a/ Honey purchase:
The purchasing team consists of 3 8-ton trucks and 8 employees working nationwide to follow beekeeping households seasonally. Currently, there are nearly 300 households and beekeeping groups with a total of up to 50,000 bee colonies nationwide that have agreed on principles of farming and product consumption with the company.
Types of honey purchased by the factory include:
Lychee and longan nectar from Hung Yen, Bac Giang, grass nectar, mint flowers on the Dong Van stone plateau in Cao Bang, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang.
Honey from the vast Melaleuca forests along the Central provinces to the Coffee and Rubber nectar of the Southern Highlands such as Gia Lai, Kom Tum, Dak Lak, Lam Dong and the Southeastern provinces such as Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and Dong Nai.
Longan honey is famous from Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Tien Giang and cajuput honey is a specialty from Long An, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang, Ca Mau provinces.
b/ Processing:
Honey harvested from bee farms is stored in specialized plastic cans and transported to the factory, where it goes through the first step of filtering impurities, then is placed in barrels containing raw materials.
The company's laboratory will be responsible for sampling, classifying, measuring, and testing microbiological indicators in accordance with US and European food safety standards.
Qualified raw materials will be passed through 2 more deep filtering steps and then put into a vacuum machine to concentrate according to export standards.
After being concentrated, the honey will be stored in large tanks to settle for 7-10 days, completing the processing.
