The forerunner of Thong Thuan Group is a shrimp seed production facility established in 1990, founded by Mr. Truong Huu Thong in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.
In the course of history full of ups and downs, the company has grown stronger and stronger until today and has affirmed its strengths: leading the country in shrimp seed production and commercial shrimp farming; seafood processing for export.
In 2023, Thong Thuan decides to shift to the field of pangasius export regime, and will complete investment in a pangasius processing factory in Dong Thap Province, Vietnam with a scale of 40-50 million USD/year.
The factory will go into operation in the fourth quarter of 2023 with all international certificates qualified to export to the EU, China, Middle East and US markets by the end of 2024.
