Vietnam Coffee Corporation (Vinacafe), formerly known as the Union of Vietnam Coffee Enterprises, was established under Decree No. 174/HDBT dated October 13, 1982, of the Council of Ministers (now the Government). ), based on Cocoa Coffee Company - under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and from the transfer of 03 military divisions of Military Region 5 (Division 331 in Gia Lai, Division 333 in Dak Lak & Division 359 in Kon Tum) to do business with several economic units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, locally in the provinces in the Central Highlands.
