About
Vinamilk has significantly expanded its global footprint, including investments in a New Zealand company producing 32,000 tons of whole milk powder annually, ventures in the US, and the construction of additional factories abroad. Export revenue, constituting 15% of total revenue, is on the rise.
Domestically, Vinamilk has developed the fifth dairy farm in Lam Dong, growing its herd to 5,900 cows, and inaugurated modern facilities in Danang, Lamson, and Vietnam Beverages Factory, equipped with state-of-the-art production lines from the US, Denmark, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.
It operates one of the world's most advanced, fully automated factories over 20 hectares in My Phuoc 2 Industrial Zone. Vinamilk increased its stake in New Zealand’s Miraka Limited to 22.8% and inaugurated the Angkormilk dairy factory in Cambodia, the country's first.
It also acquired full ownership of Driftwood Dairy Holding, launching condensed milk and creamer under the Driftwood brand in the US. Recognized as one of the 2000 largest listed companies globally and the only fast-moving consumer goods company from Vietnam on the list, Vinamilk boasts a revenue of USD 2.1 billion and a market capitalization of USD 9.1 billion.
The company is involved in large-scale projects in Laos and Japan, aiming to manage up to 100,000 cows across 20,000 hectares. Additionally, Vinamilk's operations include an 8000-cow farm equipped with 4.0 technology on nearly 700 hectares. In August 2021, Vinamilk formed a joint venture with Del Monte Philippines, Inc. (DMPI), a leading food and beverage company in the Philippines.
