Description
DESICCATED COCONUT are produced from matured coconut (age 10-12 months) processed within 72 hours of harvest. The coconut is de-shelled, the brown testa of the meat is removes then turned into production line. The product has creamy color. That is a characteristic of their premium quality since the desiccated coconut are not bleached but completely in their natural state.
Desiccated coconut high fat has minimum fat content 63% (+/-3%). It is available as macaroon or fine, medium, fancy shredded, flake and chips.
PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY:
The granules are then pasteurized, pass through a sterilization system and continuously blanched before cut or grate into required particle sizes. We use the drying technology with advanced specialized equipment and passes through a series of magnets and metal detector at each stage before it is finally packed.
