Ca Mau Province: Fishery Output In April 2023 Increased By 5.18%
According to the Ca Mau Fisheries Department, total fishery production in April 2023 was estimated to reach 54,240 tons. Of which, shrimp output was 21,850 tons, an increase of 8.58% over the same period. Cumulatively, in the first 4 months of 2023, total fishery output was estimated to reach 211,845 tons, up 3.83% over the same period, of which 81,000 tons were shrimp, an increase of 4.61% over the same period.
Fishery production in April 2023 was estimated to reach 19,740 tons, up 0.87% over the same period. Cumulatively, in the first 4 months of 2023, marine catch output was estimated to reach 78,345 tons, up 2.37% over the same period.
Ca Mau’s aquaculture output in April 2023 was estimated to reach 34,500 tons, up 7.81% over the same period, of which 21,000 tons were shrimp, an increase of 8.81% over the same period. Cumulatively, in the first 4 months of 2023, aquaculture output was estimated to reach 133,500 tons, up 4.71% over the same period, of which shrimp were 77,700 tons, up 4.58% over the same period.
